The Gold Coast Orphan Alliance brings together Christians from churches throughout the Gold Coast region of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties to stand united for the cause of the orphan through collective advocacy and action. Our goal is to mobilize the passion and resources that God has spread across churches in our region to make a difference in orphans' lives.
Calling All Crafters! Benevolent Bazaar Needs You!
Are you crafty? Would you like to join some fellow local crafters to help orphans? We are working now on developing a team of people who would like to make hand-made items that we can sell through our GCOA Benevolent Bazaar which helps fund local adoptions and orphan care projects. We need you! Contact Jodi Plum, our Crafting Coordinator, if you are interested. Jodi can be reached at
The Love Closet: Got Any Kid Stuff to Spare and Share?
GCOA is now collecting new and gently-used items that we can distribute to support and bless families in our area who are stepping out in faith to take in orphans and foster children, sometimes with very short notice. We are in need of cribs, carseats, high chairs, bouncers, swings, toys, clothing, etc. If you are cleaning out your closets, please think of us! Please contact Sheila Steen who is the coordinator for our new Love Closet program. Sheila can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
